The anticipation for the home World Championships in Saalbach is great and preparations are already in full swing. 34 years after the legendary Sun World Championships in 1991, Saalbach Hinterglemm will once again be the venue for a sporting highlight this winter - the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2025. The winter sports event of the year

With 270 kilometres of slopes, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is perfect for world-class competitions. The finish arena of the World Championships can be easily reached on skis from all parts of the ski area and the lifts and pistes in the entire Skicircus will remain fully operational throughout the World Championships. This means that winter sports fans can easily reach the venue of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships on the Zwölferkogel and cheer on the more than 600 athletes.

A combination of outstanding ski offers, cosy accommodation and top infrastructure makes Saalbach Hinterglemm the ideal host region for the 2025 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
